Weezy's Letter from Prison #9
Even though they said the last letter would be the last, Weezy has written another letter! Which is a good thing, because a lot of people like to hear from him. Though, i am going to assume this will be the last letter considering he has only 21 Days left in prison. I really cant wait to see what he has in store for everyone, and see what he thought of during his time in prison!
What’s poppin?!
By now I’m guessing that you all have heard about my recent relocation to the bing, which is punitive segregation. Basically, no T.V., no radio, no snacks/junkfood, and one phone call a week. This punishment has been handed to me for my earlier MP3 incident. I admit, I fu#ked up and now I must deal with the consequences. As I write this, I only have 25 days left, and it’ll be even less than that when you read this. So honestly, I’m fine. Obviously, this gives me a lot of time to myself and a lot of alone time with my thoughts, which can be creatively dangerous. I do miss being able to hear from my family everyday but once a week will have to suffice. To them, I apologize. I’m still able to receive mail so reading and responding is still a huge part of my day. I’d like to thank everyone that sent me B-Day cards and wishes… that was terrific. You all are wonderful, simply wonderful.
Well anyways, I just wanted you all to know that I’m good and I’ll be good! But at the end of the day, I did it all for music!!! By the way, thanx for downloading the I Am Not A Human Being album. And if you haven’t done so already, please do! And if you have, do so again! When I get out I’m going to put the album in stores and shoot more videos for it. Which songs should I shoot videos to? Also, we will be adding bonus songs and packaging the new Nino Brown DVD with the in store album! You’re welcome.

As this year starts to head down the home stretch, Lil' Wayne's prison sentence continues to grow shorter, and shorter! In 36 days and 4 hours (from right now) Weezy will be returning home! All i can say is that i am pretty damn excited, when he gets out, i have a feeling the game will never be the same again! I hope that you all are well and as always, thank you thank you thank you for the endless love and support. I think by the time you all read this I’ll be 28 years old… feeling ancient in this b#tch! On that note, I do encourage you young people to enjoy your youth. And for the old heads like me, enjoy your life. Everyday!
As for me, I’m good. Awaiting freedom patiently. People often ask does the days feel longer now that the time is getting shorter… I say that there’s 24 hours in everyday. But honestly, I can’t fxckin’ wait! Sorry. Anyway, I’m still playing UNO. Still doing pushups and such, by the way, please don’t expect me to come out looking any different. I’m the same little ‘ol me. Also, I’ve been trying to get as much rest as I can because I know I won’t when I’m out of here. Wait, Aaliyah’s “Let Me Know” just came on the radio! “At your best, you are love”… and I try to always be at my best, for you.
I only listen to slow jams and ESPN. Shoutout to Keith Stewart and Dr. Bob Lee on WBLS, and Lenny Green on KISSfm. That’s all I listen to, other than sports. Oh and if you haven’t heard the new song by Eric Benet, “Sometimes I Cry”, please stop what you’re doing and check it out. Well, after you finish reading this. It’s the best song I’ve heard since Maxwell’s “Woman’s Worth”. It’s for grown folk. I actually listen to the radio all day waiting for that song. Anyway, so back to my fans, you are the best in the world. When reading those letters, you never cease to amaze me with your love. I am forever grateful.
So my kids are perfect. I miss them like crazy! Reginaé, you are the angel of my life. Kam, you are amazing. Neal, you are my little wonderful meatball. And Lil Tunechi Jr., you are so me. City, I am so you! I love my family and I thank them for the support during this time. It’s almost over. To my YMCM family, you are the fxckin’ best! Uhh Nik, I am jealous of you and Drizzy, but it’s cool! Ha ha. I miss you all and keep killin’ ‘em. I love y’all.

First off, i want to start by saying Happy Birthday Weezy! Today is Dwayne Carter's 28th birthday. Unfortunetly, Wayne is spending his birthday in prison. None the less, being behind bars has not been able to stop him from staying on top! From dropping numerous music videos, to dropping new singles, Lil' Wayne is making sure he stays on his grind. Well ain’t nothing going on in here but the time, which seems like it’s taking forever. I’m trying to make the most out of every second tho, mentally. There’s some pretty cool people in here. Even though this isn’t a cool place to be. I’ve learned plenty already and the best lesson is to not come back. Last night, I kicked ass in UNO! Anyway, that’s neither here nor there. Just thought I’d let y’all know. Gotta stay hydrated. Though it’s hot, I still work out. Now don’t be expecting me to look like Hercules when I get out, but I should be a little bulky. I guess. Anyways, please remember to always check for your name in the “thank yous”. I’m always reading letters and responding. Off the subject but hey Chris, I think you should team up with Kobe! Go Lakers! Hello world… I’m good. Counting the days and still smiling. Most of those smiles come from hearing my kids’ voices over the phone. The others come from reading fan mail. Let me just say that I have the best fans in the world! The devotion, dedication, support, love, and most of all, prayers are simply the best. I never imagined that I could have such an impact on people’s lives. Because of this, I vow to be a bit more careful of what I say.
So I’ve been writing and let me be the first to tell you that the lyrics that I’m writing are… well there’s no word that I can think of that properly defines them. Amazing would be too typical and perfect would be unfair. I listen to the radio sometimes, emphasis on sometimes, and I hear the new music. I like some. I applaud my Young Money family for what they’re doing. As I’m not surprised. This is what we’re supposed to do. Congrats to Drake and Nicki for all their recent success. Those 2 are going to have me retiring early. I love my team. Much love to Tez and Mack. I know that people are inquisitive of what I do all day, so here goes. I wake up around 11AM. Have some coffee. Call my kids, and my wonderful mother. I then shower up. Read fan mail. Have lunch. Back on the phone. Read a book or write some thoughts down. Have dinner. Phone. Pushups. Then I listen to ESPN on the radio. Read the bible, then sleep. That’s my day.
I’ll end this letter, but never my love. I’m gone. Oh, and how ‘bout dem Lakers!?!

It’s not many words in the world more powerful than “mother.” Those six letters can bring joy, just like they bring pain. It can invoke excitement just as quickly as it can anger, depending on the context, I guess. For myself, it means more than I can ever possibly describe, but I will try. I associate the term with immeasurable
strength, beautiful patience and infinite wisdom.
You can probably already tell, but the main reason for this letter is to pay tribute to every positive matriarch on Mother’s Day. In my eyes, that day is 365 days a year, but I understand the significance of the holiday. The love between a mother and her offspring is hands down the most beautiful thing God created. More than money, more than fame, more than cars. You know why? Because true love is the only thing that lasts from the moment you’re born to the second you perish. To all the mothers who read this letter, I hope this day allows you to feel the love and respect you so rightfully deserve. You are the role models, not me.
To the mothers of my beautiful children, there remains nothing but love, adoration and respect coming from my heart. Even with the mistakes I’ve made in my life, you give me reason to smile in a place where they attempt to break your spirit each day the sun rises. I love my babies with all my heart. And the fact you brought them into this world only gives me more and more motivation to write these words. Happy Mother’s Day.
Last but not least, my own mother, Ms. Cita. You are my heart and you are my soul. Please don’t ever forget that. We’ve been through everything one could possibly imagine together. With each obstacle that has come our way, you have handled it with the grace and dignity I can only hope to mimic. Even writing this, it’s tough to come to grips with the fact I cannot spend this special day with you. Like you always preached, a man must accept his own actions – good and bad – and learn from them. And that’s what I’m doing. Mom, I love you more than you will ever know. Probably more than I love my own self. Enjoy Mother’s Day because you deserve it. Also, find comfort knowing your son loves you and misses you like crazy.
To everyone, again, I cannot stress this enough, thank you so, so much for the support. My spirits are sky high thanks to you all. It makes the day pass faster knowing people out there care about you and want you to do well. I pray the letters keep coming in at the volume they are right now, especially the overseas ones. They let me know life still does move on, even if I forget at times. I just ask that you all keep the letters to one page. And keep sending the pictures, too. Some of you are talented beyond belief with the drawings and paintings.

McNabb To the Skins: Wowww
I think this will be a great thing for all involved, except the Eagles. One reason is because I don’t think Andy Reid was ready to part ways with the soon to be 34 year old veteran. He still had a year left on paper with the Eagles, And though I don’t think they would’ve given him an extension, for some reason I think Andy would’ve liked to see Donovan play it out. Although Reid put the word out that he was entertaining offers a few weeks ago to the coaches and GM’s. I don’t think he was the brains behind that move. i think this was above him. Another reason is because of where he eneded up. Why send him to Washington? Now he gets to play the eagles twice. I’m sure he has those days marked already. The other reason is the Eagles don’t have sufficient QB to fufill the role. I mean the 2nd round pick, Kevin Kolb, and Michael Vick doesn’t exactly fit the bill if you ask me. Philly is a hard place to play and an even harder place to play for. My sympathy gees out to Kolb and Vick, who will be expected to do nothing other than win.
Now McNabb is headed to the great QB coaching of Shanahan. This will be great! He’s still a prime QB, despite the fact that he hasn’t played a full season all but once in the last six. He’s a post season shoe in. I’m glad he didn’t end up with the Raiders. He wouldn’t have a shot! I’m calling this the craziest QB trade since Brett to the Vikings.
